1st September 2017 – First day of Spring.

So I am feeling a little jittery right now, as I have just given my notice on where I am living…

There will be some that say, “where are you off to now…!?” I’m kind of not going anywhere, but I kind of am at the same time! A lot has been going through this head recently, and I am making some changes….

I remember watching a video a few months back, about how it is important to respect the seasons, and that Winter is a time for hibernation, and I took this on board…. To the extent that I wasn’t sure that when Spring came that I would be coming out of hibernation that easily!

As well as that when I left the UK, my only real thought about the whole thing was that I was travelling because I wanted to do things differently. I have been here 4.5 years now and a few times I have found myself caught up on the treadmill/hamster wheel of life, and this also happened BIG TIME this Winter, (hence probably wanting to hibernate in any spare time).

However I am ready, and am making some changes to embrace what Spring and then Summer has to offer. Yes I am moving out and getting ready for my S.O.S….. My Summer of Stories….

It is interesting that SOS is also a backronym for Save Our Souls, because I feel that I want to do this, to ‘save’ (without being too dramatic) and totally reconnect back with my soul, my absolute essence – who I am and who I was put on this world to be.

So my plan is to wing it this Summer! As I will still be working around Auckland, I will have a base (of some sort – still to be arranged!) in Stillwater – the beautiful village where I have been living for nearly a year and love. However belongings that haven’t been sold or given away will be going in to storage (of some sort – still to be arranged!) and then I will be travelling wherever possible. When I do need to be around Auckland, I will be open to housesitting, WWOOFing (where you swap accommodation for help) and whatever other wonderful opportunities come my way!

And I am so excited…..
I will be sharing my stories on here, the good, the bad and the ugly!
Thank you for being on this journey with me…..
